My father got harassed by post master, I took video. Is it illegal ?

No it is not illegal to shoot a harassment video or any video if it has been done so with the permission of the person whose video is captured. Only if it is done so without informing or secretively then it may be termed illegal. What is necessary to know is whether such video was captured through hidden camera or not.

Hello , take a harassment video in p.o. is not illegal in India , and send it to there senior is also not any offence under I.T.Act , Indian P.O. Act , Public Electronic Communication Network Act,Penal code, for your case only, as per your writing if massage is not include any indecent ,obscene,menacing and grossly offence character ,or annoyance or inconvenience .
but this massage can treated as a complaint before the senior authority which is useful for under consumer protection act in India and for harassment you can lodge complaint before Local P.S..

If the photography,is restricted in the arena then the postal dept may question you or book you under Information Technology Act, 2000. But if they are committing any wrong with you then they can not be exempted from be punished and prosecuted as per the law. One crime can not be condoned by another. You have to file proceeding against them.
