Issues with Interior design. Can we file a case?

We don’t have an official contract for the agreed work, but I do have the detailed whatsapp conversations regarding the mistakes they made and the problems(too many) they createdOut of 7 lakhs, I paid 5.5 lakhs stating the work is not satisfactory and we have issues with multiple items. They visited house after that and took the wardrobe doors by saying they would fix them. But now, they are demanding us to pay the full remaining amount if we want doors returned and issues fixedCan I go the legal route and do something to make them pay for the pain they put us through? Also, for faulty designs and doing substandard work?
hi yiu should first send legal notice to them asking for refund of money for your sub standard work and faulty designs and that you had agrees to repair them and then if there is no proper rwsponse we can file consumer complaint against them
