Interior decorator not completed the work despite taking the payment

21-Aug-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
I purchased a home on Oct 28th 2017 and handed over the keys to a interior decorator firm with high rating on google review. They promised to complete the work by 31st Dec 2017. They failed to meet the dead line repeatedly and finally i had to move in on the 28th of April into a incomplete home. Since then they have not responded to my mail or phone calls. i had paid 99.3 % payment. Apart from that, a certain individual has posted a review on their website praising (high rating) them for a good job done in his home with pictures of my home's 3 bedroom with out my consent. Many a customers of this particular firm are facing the same problem as i. I would like to know if i can sue the firm for not completing the work in my home and deceiving the public with false review prompted by themselves. I also want to know if i can sue the individual and the firm (for sharing my home pictures with the individual) who posted pictures of my home interiors without my consent on a public web page.

Hello Sir,
The firm can be sued for deficiency in services and you can seek compensation for the mental agony and monetary losses. Further, you can lodge a complaint with the cyber crime cell of police about this individual who has posted your pics as his. Take screen shot of all this and get a colour print out of the same before you lodge complaint. They will take down the review and pretend innocent. Take a local Advocate advice for ground works.
