Hello,

You are entitled to refund of money you paid. If the classrooms of the institute is not satisfactory and you have left the institute within a month of your enrolment, you are entitled to refund. You may send a legal notice to issue your refund along with the legal costs. There are past judgements which support your claim and the institute can not refuse to return your money.
You may contact me if you wish to send a legal notice.

Helllo,
Approach District Consumer redressal Forum on refusal of refund of Admission fees. First send notice through Advocate and then approach Local Consumer Forum for refund of amount.
Thanks and regards,

Read the admission form whether any refund policy is stated therein or not, if yes the tally with the process, and if there's no refund policy of fees mentioned by the instructions anywhere you can approach Consumer court by filing complaint..

Law is on the side of students who want to leave an institute or course mid-way and are seeking refund of fees. This also means, education institutes should not be charging upfront fees for the entire course and refuse refund, in case the student wants it
My advice to students is that the law is on your side if you want to fight. And educational institutes should be prudent, desist from charge upfront fees for the entire course, and if they do, should not refuse a refund. consult a lawyer

If you find yourself in a situation where your college is not refunding your admission fees, you have legal options to pursue a refund. Here's a concise guide on what to do if your college is not giving a refund:
  1. Check UGC Guidelines: Review the University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines for the refund of fees in 2023. These guidelines may provide insights into the refund policy applicable to your situation.
  2. Contact College: Initiate communication with your college's administrative department. Request a refund in writing, citing the UGC guidelines and any relevant college policies.
  3. Document Everything: Maintain records of all communication with the college, including emails and letters. This documentation can be crucial in your refund claim.
  4. Consumer Court Complaint: If the college does not respond or refuses a refund, consider filing a complaint with the consumer court. Provide evidence of non-refundable fees and any correspondence with the college.
  5. Legal Consultation: Consult with a consumer court lawyer for guidance and assistance in preparing your case. They can help you navigate the legal process effectively.
  6. File a Complaint: If the college is not cooperative, formally file a complaint against them for fee refund through the appropriate legal channels.
