Illegitimate bills by reliance communications What action can i take

i used broadband from from reliance company last year. due to bad service i decided to switch to another service provider. i made service termination request of broadband to the provider on (JUNE 2015 request id -235001594 )(august 2015, id-235001996). but reliance ignored my request to terminate the service and kept sending me postpaid bills til october 2015 , which were illegitimate,.... so.. they forced me to pay rs.3000 for 4 months which is illegitimate...
There are many options for the recovery of such bills. There can be complaint in the telecom dispute forum, a recovery suit against the company etc. However the best and the easiest way is through the consumer protection act. You can file a complaint against the company before the District Forum where any office of the company is situated after paying minimum court fee. Hiring lawyers in such forums is also not very expensive. However I would suggest that you send them a legal notice detailing each and every fact and await a reply for the same. In most cases the disputes are solved after sending of legal notice and proper negotiations. if you want help in drafting a legal notice you can contact me. It wont take much time and as per my experience the company would pay up if there is some fault at their end.

You can file a complaint against them for "deficiency in service " in Consumer Court.
I have recently file such complaint in the consumer court. You can get good compensation also but merely with the help of a lawyer.
