I paid a camera dealer 28000/- and am not getting the camera.

07-Oct-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)

Hi, I met a camera dealer from Karnataka on Quikr.com. The original agreement via email conversation was that I would pay him 10,500 adv and he would deliver the goods against which I would pay cash. Yesterday, He called to inform it was stuck in Mumbai Customs and needed clearance fee. Against which I made another payment of 17,500/- I made all payment via my Bank/Fund Transfer. Now, I am having a feeling that he is not going to deliver the camera. Please advice.

Hi,

Going by what you have shared herein, it is advised that if the other person is not giving you a camera then you may sue him in a consumer court and may also file a criminal case against him.....

if you buy the product from a authorized dealer and not a sham dealr then i adice you to file consumer complaint in the district consumer forum for fulfill the service for the dealer as well as from the company. if it is sham dealer then i advice you to file criminal complaint against the dealer in police station for cheating.
