How to recover long awaited dues by client
26-Sep-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
I had provided taxi services to a vendor who further supply the same to a corporate company from July, 2017 to September 03rd, 2017. The bill approximately 13.27 lac bills prepared under GST have already been submitted to them. But they are not releasing the same. On repeated requests they have directed to me a cheque for Rs. 3.57 lac. issued earlier may be presented to Bank to clear by CTS. Accordingly, the same was presented to my bank which has been rejected with the remarks that " required information not legible/correct. In turn, I had talked with the Branch PRO of their bank, they have stated that the cheque of their branch will be cleared at par at western grid (i.e. MP, MH, Goa and Chhattisgarh) and same will not be cleared by CTS from other states. This has already been informed to the client. But no response. In the meanwhile on 220-09-2017 they have credited 1.50 Lac in my account against 13.27 lac. Now they are not responding to my calls and email. Kindly suggest me
Be patience with things. Understood your panic but due to GST many companies unable to clear their vendor payments. However, keep all your invoices and mails/sms be recorded for future reference. Make continuous follow up .Wait for another 2 to 3 months then you can send legal notice. In mean while you check your contract terms and conditions of payment of bills.
