How to counter complaint by telecom provider

I purchsed docomo number but could nt pay fr it. Howvr servcs have been terminated by docomo n its been more thn three months. We got no intimation also. Suddnly got legal notice. What would be action if i refuse to pay

You availed some service for consideration but for whatever reasons you didn't pay then the service provider is legally entitled to recover the same from you by filing some recovery suit if there is no other security. But in your case I think amount would be too small for them to go for it, rather the companies prefer to serve legal notices through their Empanneled lawyers as a pressure tactic to recover. If amount is substantial and as per contract you feel that the service provider too has not complied with the terms , then you should file a proper reply to the notice.
