File complaint against Tikona for reimbursement delay

27-Apr-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)

Hi, I had taken Tikona connection in December and I had paid for 3 months advance Rs. 3893. After about 15 days I started getting connection issues and even after constantly complaining to them my issue was not resolved. Ultimately, they declared my area non-feasible. As per their policy, if a customer's area becomes non-feasible, the customer is refunded with the remaining bill amount. Everytime I call customer care they give me around 30-45 days timeline for getting refund. I've returned all their devices but still no respite. I'd like to file a complaint against them for non-payment.

Hi. Since you are a customer to Tikona and delay in refund is a deficiency in service by Tikona a consumer complaint can be filed. However prior to filing a complaint a detailed legal notice to Tikona is a better option to show your bonafide.

Your complaint will be entertained in the District Consumer dispute rEdressal Commission. Since the amount if small, it will not make sense for you to engage a lawyer unless your motive to file the complaint is to teach them a lesson and set a precedent. We can however help you draft the complaint yourself and file it in Court. Consumer Courts are generally accommodating of Complainants who appear in person.

you have filed the consumer complaint against the said dealer before the consumer court and narrate your facts and file all the documents and demand your balance payment and for compensation or litigation expenses.
