Fees format and time consumed for appeal in State forum

04-Jul-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
How to file an appeal in the state consumer forum against the dismissal decision of my case from the district forum ? What are it's charges and format ? And later, will i have to attend all the hearings in the state forum or my case would be continued in the district forum itself ? Also how much time will it take to complete the procedure of appeal ? I mean how many times will i have to go to the state forum ?

Dear sir

You need to appeal to state forum. The fees shall depend on your amount claim. With regards to how many time you need to appear depends on how your matter is progressing. It is difficult to adivice on the time however the forums aims to complete within a year.

Dear sir,
If you file appeal through an advocate you will not be required to appear in person before the State Commission. Time frame will be any thing over one year depending on the facts of the case. It will be heard in the state commission itself unless the matter is remanded back to Dist Forum by the commission. Fee can be discussed in person or on phone because the fee varies depending on the complexity of the matter.
