Due to negligence of doctors child suffered cerebral palsy at birth

Good Day Lawyers , My Delivery was done on the july 2015 . We got to know that during delivery time there was lack of oxygen because of that my son effected cerabal placy. Rightnow he has 13months old ,. still there is no developmental activity . by the nurological doctor told us during delivery time oxygen delay ur son brain was damaged. Its comes under medical neglegency.what should i do now? i am a middle class family even cannot effort per month expenses of the lawyer. Even we cannot go into the media because we have some family problem.? is there any way to punish that doctor .atleast another women shouldnot face problems like me. Hope u understand my problem. For this please send me a mail for complete assistance. What are the requirments for putting a case ? if i put a case to that doctor how many chances to win that. ?

madam your case comes under consumer protection act. you can directly represent your case in the forum and present your version. you can file case U/S 12 of consumer protection act 1986 in the district forum within a period of two years from the date of the incident.
first you please collect all the evidence against that particular doctor and also the opinions and reports of the other specialists doctors.
you can approach directly to the district forum with your petition and file the case against the doctor.
advocate is not required to represent your case in the forum if you're confident enough to represent your case. court/forum will permit you to present your case and will listen your version patiently.
a nominal court fee of 500/- is required to pay to the court as fee.
you will definitely win the case if your evidence is proper and stands in the court of law.
