Delayed in giving possession by builder what action can we take


05-Feb-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)

Builder has promised me possession on 31st July 2015 on paper and now he is saying it will be ready by December 2016 (which I think is not even confirm) , he is not even ready to give me any compensation for the delay. I have paid almost 90% of my Payment to the builder. Please suggest me what can be done?

Dear client first send legal notice through lawyer and ask monthly rent for delayed period. If builder will not act as per notice then file case im consumer court for deficiency in service and ask compensation for mental harassment. For any legal help call me

we can file a suit against him for delay, first a notice is to be served to them. we will also have to check and read the agreement. please get the copy of the agreement and payment details ie receipt. we can take it forward.

You can seek REDRESSAL in consumer court in whose jurisdiction you fall. Along with that you can also initiate specific performance suit in civil court.
