Deficiency of services for Turn key Interior work of my flat in Noida

Dear Lawyer, I have given the contract for turn key interior works of my flat in sector 78 Noida to one design+build firm of Noida, starting 20th April 2016. the contract was for 3 months for about 15lacs. After 5 months even they did not complete one third work and what ever has been done is not of proper quality. On 20th Sept. 2016 they handed over the keys back to me. Now I am getting work done by multiple agencies. This is causing loss of time, rent and money to us besides familly tension.
This is simple Breach of contract ,I think you must had done contract before assigning work to the contractor with stipulating time ,cost and type of work to be carried out .
Now if it is not carried as per contract ,then there are number of remedies available as per contract law ,for the offence of breach of contract ,Now you have to decide how you want to proceed ,it could also be settle amicably if parties are ready for .

For this I advice you to give a legal notice to Builder through your advocate. After that you have to file a case in Consumer forum for loss of time, rent and with interest & cost of litigation. You may call me in case of need

Please mention that The firm whom take the contract for your interior work is registered? or you have any bill or receipts for payment proof. Or you sign any contract or MOU with firm. If you have any bill or receipts for contract and payment then you can file a complaint in consumer forum. In other cases you have get remedy from civil court..
