First you must issue a legal notice through your Advocate to the Dealer. If he does not reply within one week, you can file a complaint with the District Consumer Court. Kindly contact me if you are in Chennai, I will assist you to issue the legal notice and file the case if necessary.
If you have purchased the vehicle, it becomes the duty of the dealer to get your vehicle registered properly through local RTO.
Have you made representation to the top management of the dealer about the reluctance showed by the staff of the showroom in this regard.
If your personal approach to the manager of the showroom could not yield any fruitful result, then you may issue a legal notice to the dealer demanding the relief of getting the vehicle registered as per the terms of sale of vehicle and even if this fails to invoke any response or there is no cooperation from the dealer's side, you may drag them to the consumer forum for relief and also for compensation for the deficiency in their service.
