Consultancy company cheated and took money what are my rights

Dear Sir/Madam, Good Morning!.Actually i am working as senior employee in one of the private firm in Chennai. Recently i got call from INDEED career operation pvt ltd to arrange job in Abudhabi location.For job process they collected 19000 INR from my end.Finally they have absconded and their phone nos are switched off.Now, how to get back my cash. Pls advice.

Please see if the firm from which you received the call and to which you paid the money is a partnership/proprietorship firm or a company, if it is a company the details of the directors can be traced from ROC. You can approach the police with all the details and prefer a complaint against the firm and its management under IPC (for cheating and breach of trust), also you can issue a notice under consumer protection law but am not too sure about a positive response.

It is surprising to hear such news, how come you paid those people even doing basic verification, If you are sure about there presence in chennai,file complaint against them and insist for FIR,under section 417 and 420 IPC. if you have solid evidence to back the claim file civil suit for recovery of money.
