Compensation from builder for delay in giving possession of flat

Sir, i booked a flat in one of the project in Bangalore with an approx cost of Rs 25 lakhs three years back. The builder had done a registered agreement with me and supposed to hand over me the flat by 31 Dec 2015. But the project is running in delay of approx 01 year. I paid around 09 lakhs as per agreement he demanded as per progress of construction. As per the agreement he is supposed to give me compensation per month during this period of delay , but now he is misbehaving with me sending message in Whats App over mobile phone when i asked for compensation.
