Hello!
Such calls are very common nowadays. Instead of further replying to such calls and legal notices, shoot a legal notice to the telecom company on your behalf demanding compensation for mental agony and harassment and further to initiate appropriate legal proceedings if the harassment continues.

First of all, telecom companies are engaged into such malpractices all the time. You do not need to panic by such activity. You have paid the settled amount and have a proof of payment is enough for you to initiate an action under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986. You can engage a local advocate to appear in the consumer matter and can appear yourself also if you do not want it to affect your pocket.
The paperwork is minimal and can be dealt with yourself. kindly do the following step by step:
1) Send a legal notice to the office of the telecom company regarding your grievance, in most cases, such matters are solved with legal notice only. Do not forget to mention a deadline within which you want them to respond to you. Send legal notice by Registered Post and through email also. If they do not reply, initiate a consumer complaint in a Consumer Court of your District.
2)Go to www.consumerhelpline.com
3) You can file a complaint online, yourself or through an Advocate. You will be required to appear for appearances once the Court takes up your matter.
4) The Jurisdiction can be where the office of the telecom company is located, in certain cases, with liberty of the Court, it can be your District also keeping in mind the balance of convenience.
5) Your matter will come up before the appropriate consumer forum and you will be notified with respect to same. Your appearance for the same will be required on the given dates by the forum.

Kindly, don't delay. The time within which you can file a complaint is 2 years.
