Cheating and subsequent harrassment by American Express Credit Card

I am a law abiding citizen serving in Indian Armed Forces. I was offered American Express Gold Card by giving all assurances by Sales team regarding my requirements. However after recieving the card I have been mentally harrassed for petty purchases of as low as 1200/- because of deficient services of Am Ex. I have been cheated with false promise at the time of selling the card. I and my family have faced insult and mental agony. What action can I take?
First of all you need to elaborate as to how you were cheated. If you feel you have been harassed by the Bank, you can file a consumer case but looking at the amount involved, I will not suggest that as your litigation expenses will be far more

You can approach consumer court. Before that it is better to write them and asking relief. Pursuant to your complaints a legal notice explaining your case and asking for relief may also be sent through your advocates. You can claim deficiency in service, fridge repairing/buying, mental harassment, advocates fee.
