Can I sue the gym for recording me without my consent?

So one of the trainers in the gym illegally recorded video of me making fun of me without my consent and uploaded it on Instagram. Can I sue the gym for compensation?

It is not illegal to shoot a video or click photographs in public places without consent but the person can be held liable when such act is done when
1. They are in a place where they would expect reasonable privacy and publication of such content would be highly offensive to person
2. It has potential to stop other people's use and enjoyment of the same place
3. When the person has no legitimate reason for taking the film or photos.
You may inform the gym management regarding this act and say about police complain against the said person and the management too. No one can compromise in your privacy.

As per your query first of all you have to show this video near to your police station and tell them that your gym trainer made this video of you without your consent and also lodge a complaint against the gym and also against the trainer.
