Sir in a private engineering college an advertisement came for asst. Professor where it was clearly mentioned that candidates can apply if they have that this and as per that i applied for the post and after 1 month i suddenly called the college hr and he told that the interview was over and even the candidates are selected but they even didnt informed me about the interview , neither any call nor any email and when we went to the college they told that they have their own rule and it was not necessary to inform me. Sir it only means corruption .can i file a case in court.

Private institutions do not fall under Right to Information Act. You cannot file a case against the college as they have not promised any job or commitment to give you a job. They are not bound to inform you regarding the interview they might have already selected the candidates out of the applied candidates. There is no legal action you may take against them
