Can a telephone company recover debts after 12 years?
15-Dec-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
After 12 year company has send me a notice through lok adalat for clearing dues of Rs.6000 against me but 12 years is a very long time and I didn't remember that whether such dues are remaining or not .At lok adalat , employees also fails to give me details regarding this dues.So i want to ask question 1. Can they take action after 12 years because my phone was disconencted from my place at 2006 and now 2017 year has also ended and now they have wake up from their dreams. 2. Can I file harassment against them for the mental torture and unwanted harassment. 3. Is there any law that after such period its belief that you dont need money..?? Please answer these question./..
Please visit the link adalat and get the case papers by request in writing by self or through an advocate so that you should know the grounds on which appeal is done.
