Builder delaying possession continuously. How to recover money?

We booked a flat with a Builder. They told us we would get the possession in 2013. We have paid all the installments. He is delaying the possession continuously. How we get them to delivery or return our money? What to do?

You can file a consumer complaint case before the consumer commission and asked for possession of flat along with the damages or interest on the an unt you had paid. You also can filed a suit for specific performance of contract. You may also file a police complaint for cheating, misappropriation of money and wrongful loss to u.

You can send a legal notice to the builder asking him to either deliver possession of the said flat within the time prescribed in the notice. thereafter, you can initiate legal proceedings in the court against the builder. You can file a suit of specific performance of the contract that you have entered with the builder, calling upon him to either deliver possession of the flat of return your amount alongwith bank interest. As you have paid all the installments you have the legal right to take possession of your flat.
