Builder delayed in given possession can we get our money back

Can we get our paid money bck with interest if the builder doesn't deliver the project on time
Hi,
It is upto the provisions binding the contract.. if there is not written contract then u can either rescind the contract immediately and send the notice to the builder.....or u can ask him to perform the contract within stipulated time frame... in the other words yes it is possibilty you canget your money back after deducting the total amount of work done by the builder adding any loss incurred to you on the account the contract was not completed within given time frame

Absolutely YES. You are covered under Consumer Protection Act. The agreement itself will have some stipulated time to handover you the possession. The courts are quite stringent over this view and will give you relief plus damages, provided you have not flouted the payment schedule. Good luck!
