Builder delayed 6 yrs , need a silution
14-Sep-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
I booked a flat at faridabad sector 70 by 2013 and it's still hasnot been delivered , though 90% work has been done. Builder is saying to give back 7 /- per sqft as a penalty but I want back the interest I paid to bank or refund with 10% interest which ever will be resolved in quick time. Dont want to wait another 2 yrs for legal battle . Need advice
you have to fight case in consumer forum or commission as the case may be .
legal matters mostly cant be resolved quickly. you have to wait some time for justice . it's depend on you what you want if you want your payment quickly then you can proceed with builder directly or if you can wait sometime then you can file consumer complaint . it's depend on you.
you can call me, msg me on my mobile number or you can also email me on my email which is mentioned in my profile for detail discussions about your case.

Hello if builder is offering to pay Rs 7/- per sqft as penalty till possession and if you are likely to get the possession soon depending on status of ongoing construction work you may accept the offer and if you want to interest on that or refund with 10% interest you will have to move to consumer court or RERA
You now have the option to approach the RERA tribunals which are constituted under the RE(R&D) Act 2016.
The major benefit would be that you'll be opting for a fast track mechanism as you fear a long legal battle.
as regards the merits of your case, prima facie you have a good and a direct case.
