Builder changing approved layout plan

20-Apr-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)

Hello Sir/Madam, We have bought a villa where as per approved layout plan , the STP (sewage tank) is away from our villa location. Now the villa builder is planning to move it beside our villa citing reasons as steep slope and rocks underneath ground. We are NOT OK with it as we have decoded villa based on STP location and we are planning to go to consumer court to protest it. Can we file a case in consumer court and ask for huge compensation ? Can we stop the builder ?

Dear Querist,
You can go to consumer court and seek for compensation, mental agony and deficiency of services, don't entertain your mind with huge compensation from consumer court but you will get fair compensation. You can stop the builder and engage another builder.
