Before filing case should I give a chance to rectify the mistake ?

07-Feb-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
A courier company returned a consignment addressed to me to the sender with a message" consignee shifted residence" without making proper verification of my presence over cell phone which is invariably mentioned by the bank on the cover along with the address.I am residing in the present house for the past 16 years even without short break. The sender being a bank issuing the credit card wrote to me to find out whether I really shifted my residence without intimating the change of address which will be a serious one in their view and this will affect my goodwill as the bank some times advanced loan to me.So I have decided to move consumers' forum demanding compensation for ruing my good relationship with the bank.I have myself prepared the document in the green paper for filing it in the consumers' court. Before filing the complaint can I send a copy of the paper to the respondent so that they will rectify their mistakes?

You can send a lawyer notice to that courier company stating all your issues and for the compensation for damaging the reputation & relationship with the bank you had.annex the copy which you have received from the bank.
