Bank has not returned documents even after settlement made 4 years ago

Bank not returned document after setelment made in ots.they have given NDC and document will be given with in 15 days .but so for not return.simply saying they have search from drda

Hi,

Please issue a letter asking them to return the original documents within a particular period of time failing which you may approach appropriate authorities. Ensure that you issue the letter through Regd post with ack, after receiving this they will not sit on the documents with lame excuses.

You can send a legal/lawyer notice to the bank manager and also a complaint to the ombudsman regarding the issue. For which they have to respond. Then we can take legal action against them. So send the legal notice at the earliest.
