Bank debited amount without any reason and not giving update

Hi Sir, I hold a salary account with Kotak Bank and they have debited my account without any reason and when i checked with them, they are not ready to take the complaint and asked me to wait for 1 day and they are telling that its system issues. How can i take this further to sue a bank?

Bank has no right to debit u r account without a valid reason, if they are not taking the complaint send the compliant to head office of Kotak bank with a copy to u r branch office and Banking Ombudsman by Speed post. Keep the receipt of the postal office and if they don't credit back the amount into u r SB a/c. u can go to consumer disputes for deficiency of services and mental agony.

Let a lawyer do the talking on your part they may oblige sooner and get that updated for you. Or else you may file a consumer complaint, which may sometime work out even with your legal notice which is the first step.
