Appeal of dept of post against district consumer order favouring me

As per Sundargarh district consumer order dated 30th march the dept of post has to give a compensation of Rs 23999 to me for list of an I phone 6 which I have booked under speed post article. They site that they are only liable to the extent of Rs 1000/-. can I win the case?

You did not mentioned clearly the order of consumer court.so unable to understand what you want. so please if possible attached the copy of this order again. if the consumer court passed order in your favor as per your prayer and passed order to the postal department to give you the compensation amount then definitely you wined the case.

Yes if the article was booked under speed post the it must be insured by the postal department then section 6 of the Indian postal act is not a bar to approach consumer forum . You can get cost of article

The judgement is in your favour.In appellate consumer commission u take the same plea which u had taken in District forum.In the mean time u file execution case u/s 27 of C.P.Act for recovery of your compensation amount
