Airtel Broadband and Fixed Line Wrong Connection and No resolution

13-Sep-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
I have taken a new broadband connection from Airtel but due to ongoing offer have not paid anything for the connection. The technician who made the connection has made a wrong connection and now no one is ready to help me resolve the issue. Do I still qualify to approach consumer court with my case even though I have not paid any money till date to the company? However, the billing cycle would have started from date of connection. It has been 1 week since I took a connection. I tried reaching customer care via number and mail. I even wrote to the appellate and the nodal officer. Kindly help me out.

You can contact the higher authority by visiting their regional office. As you have not paid and not happy with their service then what is the use of fighting with them. Just choose some better service network instead of lagging with their deficiency of service . If you have any documentary proof which shows their deficiency of service then we can proceed at Consumer Forum

Sir,

Please check your connection means in what plan you are using. as your told your have not paid bill. Here you should confirm that is there any offer for the plans by going through the voucher. If yes and you are in track and you are not paid the amount as per offer /plan, then you can approach the consumer court.

Even you have not paid you are a consumer of the Airtel, because you will pay for the recharge. Wrong connection amounts to negligent in providing the service.
Issue legal notice thru., an advocate to the co., if co., failed to solve your problem then you can claim the compensation for not providing the better service by filing a consumer complaint in the consumer forum
