Need concrete law or advice for Parking related issues in Delhi .. 1. If any plot owner has available space in front of his house, which is a gated colony, with RWA, so whose right is first to use that space for parking? Is their any law regarding parking in front of house laws India for plot owners? 2. How to calculate number of cars, if plot is divided into separate builder flat? 3. If anyone Park in available space in front of your house, what can a person do, legally? Or how can a person challenge the visitor?

Legally, it is not open to a property owner to claim that he has exclusive dominion on the portion of road in front of his house. A road is a public property which belongs to all and can be enjoyed by all subject to the reasonable restrictions laid down under the law. Hence, you cannot claim a preferential right to park vehicles on the part of road in front of your house.
