Dear Sir,

Your wife is entitled to equal share in the jewellery of her late mother along with the other legal heirs if her late mother died intestate. However, if your wife's late mother had made a will before her death bequeathing her jewellery to any other legal heir/beneficiary, then the division of her jewellery will be made according to the will only, this means that the jewellery will belong to the person named in the will.

she would have a joint and equivalent share along with other brothers and her father if she is hindu as per section 14 of the HIndu Succession Act and it applies only if the mother died intestate and if written will or anything section 30 of the act applies

if the jewellery and property belongs to HUF i.e., hindu undvided family then definitely your wife is entitled to get a share in jewellery and property as well, otherwise she is not entitle to get any share
