No statute confers legal status to an unregistered association or a society. Unregistered societies cannot sue themselves.

If the organization is not formed according to proper procedure, you should contact the Registrar of Societies. Bye-laws must be changed in accordance with the society act/rules and bye laws. If you do not follow the rules, contact the Registrar to get an injunction. The registration of the society is done, not the office-bearers.
