Return of money given to son-in-law

22-Feb-2023 (In Civil Law)
My daughter was married in 2010. In april 2011 my son-in-law wanted some money to open a clinic. I gave him 3 lacs. As he was my son-in-law i never asked him to return it. Now they are separating by mutual consent. Can i legally proceed against him if he does not return my money. When can i make a claim? Before or after the divorce.? He has agreed to pay alimoney. I have proof for the payment as the money was transferred to his account by RTGS.

Ok... You should ask this before they get separated. Hope you have discussed this matter with your daughter. If he is reluctant to give you... you can file a suit for return of money before the munsiff court.
