Hello,
If u are staying in Mumbai than for taking succession certificate you have to approach Bombay high court. Further, succession certificate include all movable things like bank balance,things in locker and etc but if you have immovable property also than you have to go through probate petition. About fees and everything can be discussed once we set a meeting and jointly we can conclude on the amount.

Dear Querist,
Three costs are involved, Court Fees, Legal Fee, Out of Pocket Expenses.

If the value of the assets are more than Rupees Twelve Lakhs, you have to pay maximum court Fee of Rs 75000/-.

Out of Pocket expenses vary from Rs 10,000-25,000/-

And Legal fees depends upon the experience of the Advocate from RS 75,000 to 2,50,000/- or more.
