The following methods may be adopted to protect your p.number land.
The government enacted the Assigned Lands Regularisation Act to give ownership rights of lands recorded with a dot. Land assigned, alienated or title transfer would be recorded and only those producing proof of occupation for 12 years would be recorded in the RSR, he said.
Assigned lands

Assigned lands which did not have the name of the owner or pattadar, were enrolled in the British regime with a dot sign in the Re-Settlement Registers (RSR) in nine districts – Anantapur, Kurnool, Kadapa, Chittoor, Prakasam, Nellore, Guntur, Krishna and East Godavari districts – the Deputy Chief Minister said. They could not be construed as government lands, but 5,558 acres was alienated to various institutions and individuals earlier.

Hi sir /madam,
If you are the right owner then you can file a eviction suit before the civil court against the encroachment of your property. You can also get the injunction order from the same.
Thank you.

These subdivisions are often used for administrative and taxation purposes.

  3. Meaning in Kannada: In Kannada, P number land is often referred to as "ಪಿ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಭೂಮಿ" (P sankhye bhoomi).
  4. Land Records: When dealing with P number land, it's crucial to check the land records, often available through the Revenue Department, to confirm the ownership, dimensions, and any encumbrances associated with the specific P number parcel.
  5. Legal Assistance: If your P number land is occupied by someone else and you need to evict them, it's advisable to consult with a legal expert or civil lawyer. The process of eviction can involve legal procedures, and professional guidance can be essential.
  6. Land Transactions in Karnataka: Be aware of the rules and regulations governing land transactions in Karnataka, including the Karnataka Land Reforms Act and other relevant laws.

This is primarily for grant land, and the P number (pending) is assigned. The process is lengthy and the file must be passed from the village secretary to the Tahsildar before being handed over to the Assistant commissioner, then the Deputy Commissioner.
