My neighbour want money from me because both having common drainage li

My & my neighbour drainage line is common & it is lying in my land. Five year ago they reconstruct there home but not separate there drainage line, now I am reconstrcting my home but they oppose me & tell me for giving money to them because there drainage line running from my land otherwise they file case against me.
Try to resolve the issue amicably . if it is not resolved you can file complaint at ward office of corporation regarding that. They will go through the issue and resolve your issue. Dont worry you can put your sids before them.
