My Boyfriend Gave Me Promise Of Marriage And Came In Live In Relation

We were in a live in relation. He involved my family also. He kept on saying that he will talk to his parents once his sister gets married. His sister got married in dec 2018 and after that he fought with Me for a very silly reason and broke up with Me. Can i take a legal action against him ?
Yes, you can take legal action, for giving false promises it would also dependent on how long you guys were staying for, as law if a couple stays for more than 7 years together it is termed as marriage even though the marriage has official not taken place. Moreover giving false promises and using a girl is a crime section 417 of ipc comes to picture and the recent case in MP court women's body is not a play thing for men to use on false pretexts and can amount to Rape under 376.
