marriage of one french citizen and one indian citizen
04-Jul-2023 (In Civil Law)
Hello,
Thank you for your help. My fiancee and I are considering getting married, I am french resident in Indian for now, and she is Indian as well in India. We would like to consider both the french marriage act and the Indian marriage act. which one is better and easier. What are the main differences between one and the other.
Is the property shared or divided?
If one day we get divorced does it has to be ruled by Indian law or french law, or the country where we live in, what about child custody etc etc.
Thank you
Yes, it’s possible to marry her but before to that need to consider that weather you wanted to go and marry there and gain French PR or she wants to Gain Indian PR clear it off yourself every citizenship have its Own terms and conditions because it all goes with immigration and other various laws applicable
