Legal Advice for false defamation in the society

I have been said to be a victim of false rumours even though I have not stolen any ID card by a firm and many things which has a negative impact on my life people in my neighbourhood have misunderstood me. I was never dead by my Manager Piyush Bandhu and his associates in Concur Technologies India have spread bad news about me that I was dead. What would be the ideal thing to do for me to come out of this false allegations. Please advice.
Hi, if you feel that you have been a victim of false information spread about you and feel that your image has been destroyed and defamed by anyone, then you may file a criminal or civil defamation suit in the court of law and claim damages for the same. Please note that you need to have all the documentary evidence and proofs to prove that you have been a victim.. Collect all the material evidences to defend your case.
