28-Aug-2023 (In Civil Law)
Some year ago there was a social marriage programme in my city. all my relatives and society members attend joint marriage programme. one of my cousin whose wife was ill, so he requested to one of his relative to drop him and his wife to their home. That relative agreed to drop them by his car. There were 5 persons in that car. after drop my cousin and his wife at their home, 2 person planed to return again to that venue. the person that was driving the car ,was feeling very tired and feeling uncomfort during driving. and unfortunately the car was accidented with one trailor and driver was died on the spot. Now family members of that person claim 1.50 lakh from my cousin's father to look after the children of died persons. And call a meeting to pay money . So I want to know that in this case , Is my cousin liable to pay that money to died person’s family? They are being pressurized to my cousin's family. Does it is a sin to demand help from someone? Kindly reply with proper reaso

Legally those persons cannot claim any type of compensation from you because Lord does not recognise such type of acts which were done voluntarily by the person so you have no need to worry and go ahead with any type of talks they cannot claim or enforce any compensation on your cousin
