How to register the land & obtain EC after deed of partition in Ranchi? The land is registered in my mother's name and has passed away. I have 4 siblings. I have a mutually agreed partition deed . My brother is not allowing me to stay in my partitioned area. I have done a mutation from Nagar nigam under my name , I have also done a mutation through Block under my name , I have tax paid receipts in my name for the property for last 10 years. How do I get the property registered under my name ? and obtain an Encumbrance Certificate?

well, as you described you are already in possession in your share area acquired from paternal property holding with entire valid & concerned documents , you have not required to registerd it Also you have got it by way of succession & mutually partition ,so it can not be registered in your name .Being an absolute owner you may transfer it to your faimly member through registered deed. Ofcourse you may consult a lawyer of Bank from where you desire to take loan who after perusing entire documents which are already available at present may recommend for EC.
Thanx.
