Normally the exparte decree will be ready with in three months or earlier and the said judgement is typed by typist not steno. It is noted that which judge pronounced the judgement that the same judge should sign the judgement even though judge is transferred to other court and normally it takes sometime.

Exparte decree is given when either of the party hadn't appeared before the court on the hearing day, such orders generally favour the party present. For setting aside the exparte decree you need to file before 30days from the date of knowledge/ date of decree. Kindly act asap, question/ask your lawyer in this regard, get an noc from him and better approach some other lawyer!

I am not able to understand what has happened. You say that the case is decreed with costs, then you should get the Order/Judgment copy. Judge on leave, court leave etc will not be a delay. In the case is in Chennai, then I can help you to get the Judgment copy early. Kindly contact me for any further guidance.

Uncontested means the case is not contested by the opposing party. Decided refers to a court ruling based on the terms of consent agreed upon between the parties.
