Yes you can. You can have any number of advocates to represent you in the court, there is no limit to this. However in Family Court legal representation of advocate is being sort and granted by the presiding judge of the Family Court.

In India, it is possible for a client to have more than one lawyer represent them in a single case. Here are some key points to consider regarding the representation by multiple lawyers in a single case:
  1. Client's Choice: It is ultimately the client's prerogative to decide how many lawyers they want to engage for their case. Having multiple lawyers can provide different perspectives and expertise.
  2. Co-Counsel: In many cases, lawyers may work together as co-counsel to provide comprehensive legal representation. Each lawyer can focus on specific aspects of the case, which can be beneficial.
  3. Changing Lawyers: If a client wishes to change lawyers in the middle of a case, it is their right to do so. However, proper procedures should be followed to ensure a smooth transition. The new lawyer should be well-versed in the case's details.
  4. Communication: Effective communication among the client and their legal team is essential when multiple lawyers are involved. This ensures that everyone is on the same page and working toward the same legal goals.
  5. Legal Fees: Clients should discuss legal fees and payment arrangements with all lawyers involved to avoid any misunderstandings.
  6. Coordination: It's important for the legal team to coordinate their efforts to present a cohesive and strong case in court.
  7. Ethical Considerations: Lawyers must adhere to ethical guidelines when representing a client alongside other legal professionals.
