Blamed for sharing already shared video will it be an offence

If a person shares a video on Facebook which is already uploaded by another person on the YouTube.And a person sues the one who shared the video for defamation,will he be liable?
Yes it is an offence, it doesnt mean if someone already shared some defamatory content then all other people get the licence for sharing the video. All the persons are who had shared the video are liable.
