Ancenstral property -can I file suit in different state for seperation

My father were 4 brothers. he passed away 10 yrs back. My grandmother is presently having her name on all the documents of the ancenstral Property. Can she transfer the property in anyone one uncles name and remove my name.
Can I file a case for seperation of property from Mumbai if I am staying in Mumbai presently.
That it is pertinent to state here that any application for partition of property or Declaration Of title is filed at the place where property is situated because civil court has territorial jurisdiction with regards to property and therefore it cannot be filed in Mumbai where you are staying

No it can’t be done. Whenever partition suit is filed it must be filed within the jurisdiction where the property is situated because in these type of cases territorial jurisdiction is very important. It can’t be filed at the place of your choice
