Advice in father's sister share in property registered with father.
17-Nov-2023 (In Civil Law)
I have 2 sisters. My parents died after September 9, 2005. There is an house in my father's name which came to him through a will of my grandfather. This house has common wall with my father's sister adjoining and a portion of another sister on top of our terrace. Still some agriculture land is there in my grandfather which has to be shared equally by his 4 children. My sisters are not approaching any court for partition since my parents died 11 years ago as they know the house has issues. I am residing in the house right now. My sisters are not joining my hands in fighting with my father's siblings. They are just asking unreasonable money. Both were married around 7-10 years before the law gave equal shares to married woman and they were adequately provided things in the form of money and other things. If there is no time limit for approaching the court for my sisters. Then it will become very difficult for me to have peaceful possession and fight with my father's siblings
In your case i need some details then only can decide.and according to hindu law if your parents died before 2005 then no arising of equal share but If after 2005 you are liable to share equal ratio.but you told that you have given money if you have any proof that because of that assets only you given the money.if your answer is yes then you may go through civil procedure.your sister also liable to pay you amount which you spend on that property.if further information you may contact given number.
