Need to understand if Joint physical custody is applicable in india

My any my spouse want a divorce but want to stay together after divorce for our child. And it's a mutual decision. Wanted to understand if we can have a joint physical custody of our child. And how to go about it. We stay in India.
Hi...yes you can have a joint custody of your child if both party are ready for the same. In mediation agreement you both have to mention that your ready for joint custody of child and there is no restrictions from both the side.
