International kid custody issue

We both are Indian citizens. Our kid is a usa citizen. Got married per hindu marriage in India. Since beginning, he was abusive to me. Last 5-6 years he was involved in extra-marital affairs. So I decided to get separated & wanted to come back to India with the kid. First, he agreed & we were almost finalizing the final draft of our legal separation but he filed for divorce in usa asking for full custody. Also, he put a false abduction case on me & kid’s passport was seized by the court. So I was left with no choice to fight for kid’s custody in usa itself otherwise I had to return to India without the kid. Usa court granted me full custody as he was abusive to the kid also. I have been living in India with the kid for few months & he has reopend the case in usa on the basis of visitation issues. As I am not in usa, I am worried that court might give him full custody. 1. Should I response to court order or not ? 2. I already attended legal proceedings in usa, am I eligible to file fresh custody case in India?
