How to stop father from visitation rights of child after divorce

30-Dec-2023 (In Child Custody Law)
I have complete custody of my 7 year old son, while the father has visitation rights. Now he is married to a very rude woman who is the reason for my divorce. Now I want to STOP THE VISITATION & GIVE NO ACCESS TO THE CHILD - AS IT'S AFFECTING THE CHILD'S BEHAVIOUR AND THE CHILD IS OFTEN NEGLECTED AS BOTH OF THEM ARE VERY BUSY RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY SON. PLEASE ADVICE.

Madam,

Here there is specific order for visitation of right. Therefore his rights cannot be denied on the facts as your stated in your problem. Even though he is divorced, his position of FATHER cannot be denied. Even also he is divorced, he is having equal rights over the child as a father.

Now it is the decision of the child to go with father or not. As you informed he is of 7 years. He is having ability to understand the Circumstanced.

The order of Visitation right may contain the clause that it cannot be harm the child interest. In case if it was there, the child only have rights, not to go with his father. Let him say the same and it will stand.

Child cannot be taken forcibly.

Please proceed by your child decision.
